Thinking About... Minions the Movie!

Hey everyone! I just went to the movies and watched Minions! It was really enjoyable and fun to watch! Here is the trailer:

I found this storyline overview on IMBD:

"The story of Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment's Minions begins at the dawn of time. Starting as single-celled yellow organisms, Minions evolve through the ages, perpetually serving the most despicable of masters. Continuously unsuccessful at keeping these masters - from T. rex to Napoleon - the Minions find themselves without someone to serve and fall into a deep depression. But one Minion named Kevin has a plan, and he - alongside teen-age rebel Stuart and lovable little Bob - ventures out into the world to find a new evil boss for his brethren to follow.

The trio embarks upon a thrilling journey that ultimately leads them to their next potential master, Scarlet Overkill (Academy Award winner Sandra Bullock), the world's first supervillainess ever. They travel from frigid Antarctica to 1960s New York City, ending in modern London, where they must face their biggest challenge to date: saving all of Minionkind...from annihilation. Featuring a sound-track of hit music ... Written by Universal Pictures and Brian McInnis " -

And then here is a fun quiz. Which Minion are you?

Thinking About... Helpful Resources For Writers!

Hey everybody! I wanted to share a few websites that I have found helpful for writing.
Here is they are: This website generates a random word (or more). You could use the word as the start of a book, chapter, thought or an idea. It is also just fun to play around with :).
Rock Your First Chapter, No Excuses I haven't searched into this website very much but it looks very informative and helpful. MJ Bush, the author of the site is a full-time writing coach, editor, and fantasy writer.

beautiful, girl, lady, pretty, lovely, chic, chique, kawaii, cute, beauty, beautiful people, ulzzang This website will give you a complete list of a random character's personality, ethnicity, and name. This is also just fun to play around with :).
Here is a shortened example:
"My character's name is: Kylee Hansen
She is a European American female.
Personality: The Actor.
INFP: Introvert Intuitive Feeling Perceiving."

lollapalooza I use this website all of the time for synonyms of words. It also has interesting facts like word of the day, word facts and word trends. This is a great website to get character names from. I've used this source multiple times for my characters and find it very helpful. There are categories like names by country, unique names, medieval names etc... I also use this website all of the time to tell me how many words are in my story. It is very helpful and can show you the key word density, average sentence words, and reading level of your writing.

Hope this helps!
Have a great day!

Here are the results:

These are all my painting supplies.

It took a long time to paint but the finished product was definitely worth the work :)!

This is how it came out after the kiln!

I'm really happy with how it looks in the end.

Here is a happy quote to finish this post :)
