Thinking About... Hemingway Poem
A Poem By Ernest Hemmingway
You are not your age,
Nor the size of the clothes you wear,
You are not a weight,
Or the color of your hair.
You are not your name,
Or the dimples in your cheeks,
You are all the books you read,
And all the words you speak,
You are your croaky morning voice,
And the smiles you try to hide,
You are the sweetness in your laughter,
And every tear you’ve cried,
You’re the songs you sing so loudly when you know you’re all alone,
You’re the places you’ve been too,
And the one that you call home,
You’re the things that you believe in,
And the people that you love,
You’re the photos in your bedroom,
And the future you dream of,
You’re made of so much beauty,
But it seems you forgot,
When you decided that you were defined,
By all the things you’re not.

Thinking About... Lots of Things!
Hey everybody! I haven't posted in a while... oops! I've been thinking about something to post about and finally decided to just tell you all what I've been up to. Last weekend my family and I went "camping" (we rented a cabin) at a state park. There was a river that we swam and kayaked in. It was really fun! I also went for two long bike rides and got ice cream both times :).
This past week I've been helping a friend's family move. So I've been really busy with that, packing and moving boxes.

I just got this sign from a store today and really liked it; so I thought I would share a picture of it with you all!
It has the hand lettering look I like and the outdoor scene behind. I am planning on putting it up somewhere in my room.
Alright, now here is an update on the plants I am growing from seeds!
Here is the lemon seed plant, as it looks today!
And here are my Sweet Basil plants I planted last week. They are growing strong!
Here are my Shasta Daisies, which I also planted last week. They are a little harder to see :).
I am excited that all my plants are growing strong, hopefully they will keep doing so :).
Hope you all are having a good summer too!
Have a great day!

Thinking About... My Lemon Plant!
Hey everybody! I recently started
growing a lemon plant! I got the seed from one of the lemons at the grocery store, and put it in a plastic bag with a wet paper towel to germinate. After a long time one of the seeds began growing a leaf and root. Time to plant!
Here are a couple of pictures of it through the weeks.

This is what it looked like a few days after being planted:
These pictures were taken a few weeks later:
Randaksela commented that my lemon plat looked like the plant in Wall-e! I thought that was so cool, so I added a picture below!
Hope you enjoyed and
have a great day!

Lol! I hope you enjoyed these pictures from Pinterest.
In answer to the three questions about me on my Random Questions post:
1. I love it when books have maps in them
2. I am growing a lemon plant
3. I have read all of the Lord of the Rings Books
Number 3. was wrong. I have not read all of the Lord of the Rings books, although I have read the first and started the second.
My next post will be about the lemon plant I am growing!
Have a great day!
